Blog readers are warned. This is a Steering Wheel Cam Society of America video and has nothing whatsoever to do with storage.
Equinoxes are nowhere when it comes to SWCSA activity. Check out this fresh video that includes the first ever SWC-PM as well as a great chase with a Vega and a Ferrari and a Prius mixing it up.
Hi Marc,
I almost cried watching the video. We had a 75 Vega in our family way back when and I welled up with a tear thinking about it.
Maybe you can get Craig Nunes or better yet David Scott to get in the car with you while you're out and about reporting on behalf of the SWCSA. I haven't seen either in a long time and would watch it just to get a look at them - though I thought I saw David in your 3Par 10 year anniversary video but if it was him, looks like 3Par has turned him gray!

Thanks Calvin,
Yes, the Vega thing was such sweet nostalgia. As for David and Craig, I'm sure they are both afraid to ride with me when the camera's rolling - every one turns into a magical mystery tour, you know.
As for the celebration vid - there were some shots of David in there, but I think he looks pretty good - he might look grayer to you, but I can assure you that he still boogies with the energy of a twenty-something.

The Vega was an awful car: summing up everything that was wrong with the US automotive industry in the mid 1970's. The engine was too small, the car was impractical and the build quality was poor. Worse still, GM launched the Chevette into the same market space as the Vega.
It's amazing that one has made it this far without rusting away.

How many times did you say "Vega"?
Man that was funny stuff.
